1 Year Later.....

I can't believe it has been a whole year since I have posted. It has been such a great year too. I am just going to post some pictures of the some stuff that has been going on the past few months. Wow I can't believe how much I miss doing this. I really need to stay away from facebook so I can start the blogging again.

I finally got Lincoln's pictures back and they are so adorable. I got them done when he was 12 days old. I can't believe how much he has grown since then. He was really good through the whole shoot. It took him a while to go to sleep, but he finally did and we got some really cute shots

Our sweet new baby boy is finally here!!!! Lincoln was born on June 25, 2009 at 2:35pm. He weighed 8lb 10oz and was 22 inches long. Mikey and Avery are so excited that their new baby brother is here. He is such a sweet little baby. He was born very healthy and with a very hungry appetite (He eats alot). I can't believe that we are now a family of 5.

I have so many new pictures to post, and so many new things to write about. As soon as Mike can help me with the computer (it hasn't been working very well with downloading pictures) I will put up the new posts.

All I Want For Christmas

I asked the kids today what they wanted Santa to bring them. Mikey responded with "I want Santa to bring me Legos." (with traffic lights of course). When I asked Avery what she wanted, she just sat there for a while thinking really hard then she said "I want a sippy cup." Well I hope Santa can handle it, because between a sippy cup and legos it looks like he's got his work cut out for him.

2 Months Later

So I know I have been such a slacker in the blogging area, but sometimes I totally forget about it. I promise I will be better. I was going to post some new pics of the kids but my photo thing is not working, and I have no idea how to fix it. So as soon as I see my loving husband I'll ask him to fix it. Hopefully I can get it working later this evening.

Mikey's First Day of School

Today was Mikey's first day of preschool. This is his second year of preschool, but now he is in the 4-5 year old class. He was soooo excited to go. He has been driving me nuts for weeks asking when school starts, so I was thrilled that it started today. He also has the same teaher that he had last year which is great because she is such a wonderful teacher. Now it's just me and Avery bug in the mornings Monday thru Friday, so of course there is going to be some major shopping going on. Yeah!!! I really need some new clothes.
It was pretty chilly outside, so I told Mikey we would have to take the picture inside. He decided he wanted his picture taken right in front of my dirty fridge. Oh well, at least I got him to smile:)

This is what Mikey made on his first day. I'm so proud of my little buddy. Of course it got put on the fridge, which is perfect for covering up all the handprint marks.

Happy Birthday Avery Noel

Today my little girl turned 2 years old. I can't believe how grown up she is. Avery is the such a sweet little girl, and is such a wonderful addition to our family. She had a great Birthday. She loved all the great presents that everyone gave to her. Her favorite is the little pink cell phone that Grandma and Grandpa gave to her. She hasn't put it down since she opened it. Happy Birthday Avery Noel WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!

So I know Independence Day was last week, but I figure better late then never. We had a great day. We went down to Nana's House(Mike's Grandma)in Mt. Pleasant to watch the annual parade. I always thought that there couldn't be a bigger hick town then Spanish Fork, but I was so wrong. After the parade Mike's family came back to our house to BBQ, and to let the little kids nap. Before we had kids Mike and I always went to the Stadium of Fire, but now we just sit outside the stadium and let the kids run around and do fireworks(not at the same time of course). It was so nice to relax and spend the day with my family. I am so grateful for the freedom that we have, and for the wonderful Men and Women who are still fighting for it.

Mikey is so funny he pretty much sat in his chair eating his burrito during the parade. The only thing to get him out of his chair was the sound of the police sirens(Yes my son loves police cars)
Avery was so happy to go pick up candy with her dad. I think she was so excited because she knew that it was hers and nobody could take it from her(except maybe her brother)

I was surprised that Avery wasn't scared of holding the sparklers. She loved watching it glow and sparkle.

When Avery wasn't doing fireworks she was sitting on someones lap. My poor little bug didn't feel very good, but she was such a trooper all day.

Mommy and Me

So today I took Avery to Mommy and Me swimming lessons. My friend Abbie teaches a Mommy and Me class 3 days a week at her mom's pool. Avery had so much fun. Her favorite was jumping in the water, I think we did that almost the entire time. I'm trying to teach her to float on her back, but she just rolls back over on her stomach (I don't think she likes it to much.) She is an excellent kicker. Watching her little legs splash the water is so funny. Mike got to come today, so I made him take pictures. Mikey was sad that he didn't get to go swimming, but I had to explain to him that his swimming classes start next week. One of my goals is to make sure my kids know how to swim well, so I want them to learn as much as they can. I'm so happy that Avery loves the water, but at the same time my little girl is fearless and does things that just take my breath away sometimes. I am so proud of her!!!!




Dagen and Mikey were such good little boys sitting on the bench cheering us on. Dagen is my friend Breanne's oldest boy, and Mikey just thinks he is so cool.
